We would like to present to you our vision of possible structural reforms necessary for the United Nations System. It is important to note that this vision reflects the many proposals made by the various global interests, including the G4, the L69 Group, and others. The United Nations (UN) system has several shortcomings that hinder its effectiveness in conflict resolution, promoting peace, and promoting global development. The main criticisms focus on the Security Council, its lack of representativeness, its decision-making process, and its funding. Key Deficiencies: 1.
